The people working in the facility services of any organisation are usually only noticed when things don’t run smoothly. The Ministry of the Infrastructure and Environment’s facilty services are no exception to that - so how can they tell their story in a year report?
To keep things running smoothly a number of projects need to be conceived. We gave the people who worked on these projects a central role in the year reports. Their stories and their faces became the backbone of the report.
For most spontaneous results and to keep connection with the office we took photos during the interviews.
The people focused approach gave us the opportunity to make the projects more relatable for the readers –their colleagues– and brought what could be profoundly dull subjects (for example: an app to submit your receipts) to life.
Infographics were created in line with the photo concept and the government style guide.
A flyer was made to promote the year report.
